Rogier Dieges

Coming from a background as bassist and furniture maker, Rogier started instrument-making by building an electric bass for his own use. He built his first double bass under the supervision of Lucas Suringar. From then on Rogier continued developing his knowledge and technique with great enthusiasm in order to bring new, as well as older instruments to an optimal performance level. He is not only knowledgeable in the techniques available today, but is also well informed of those used by the old masters, applying this in his own work.
The voice of the doublebass remains his fascination. To improve and amplify the sound his specialisation.
